What is Search Engine Optimisation?

Search engine optimization, often referred to as SEO, is the process of getting a website ranked on search engines for certain keywords. Search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Bing are primarily looking for unique content and well structured pages. Website load time is also becoming more of a factor in where your website is placed in search results. If your site is slow to load, this could affect your search rank.

What does this entail?

First I will research your industry and location to determine which search terms/words your potential clients are using to find businesses similar to yours. I will then use these terms to optimise your website throughout the build process.

As I build the website, I will create SEO friendly url’s, and SEO friendly images. Image optimization, is the process of assigning information to images for search engines to read and process the relevance of your images.

The more relevant you are to the users searched term, the higher up in the search engines listing you will be.

Search Engine Submission

Once your website has been finished, I will submit your website to all the major search engines including Google, Yahoo and Bing. This will help to ensure your business appears in their search results as quickly as possible.
